After touring the show on and off for over 3 years, finally thse who wern't able to make the live shows can catch up on all the antics, laughs and stories of Carl, his brother Troy and Mum & Dad again on DVD or Blu-ray.

Throughout this hilarious 90 minute stand up performance, Carl talks about so man different topics through his hilarious and unique view on life and all its events. We learn how Carl felt after unknowingly taking LSD, how his brother Troy (used to?!) eat ants, the awkwardness of ordering takeaway from a restaurant plus heaps more, too much to list here!

I saw this show live back in late 2010 after he had just begun performing the show, and I vividly remember laughing so hard I nearly had to leave to use the theatres facilities. The show has developed a substantial amount since then although I didn't laugh as much as I remember when I saw it live (I think that all comes down to the atmosphere of seeing the show live makes it so much more exciting!).

Also contained on this long-awaited DVD are some excellent bonus features that are sure to keep the laughs rolling through. There is an encore from Carl's Brisbane gig (which I must admit contains his most funniest material yet!), there's another encounter with Carl's alter-ego Ashley Boomington as she talks about change, a hilarious appearance Carl made on the old Channel 10 series Thank God You're Here, a glimpse of Carl backstage before a gig, and a personal insight into Carl's childhood and growing up with his segment from the Channel 7/Working Dog program Pictures Of You hosted by Brian Nankervis.

Fans of Carl, fans of observational humour, and really fans of laughter will absolutely LOVE A One Ended Stick. This hilarious DVD is the perfect example of why Paul Kelly...ahh...Carl Barron, is one of if not the best comedians that Australia has ever seen.
