'Bob Saget takes to the stage with a song in his heart. A filthy, filthy song to be exact. In his latest stand up special, Saget lets loose and embraces the dark side as he tells his favorite dirty jokes and stories about his dad - the guy who made him like this.'

Bob Saget is best known to people around the globe as the much loved Danny in the hit TV series Full House. Following a massive eight seasons of the sitcom, he moved onto a hosting gig on America's Funniest Home Videos  which he helf for another eight years. And most recently, he has released his memoirs titled 'Dirty Daddy: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian'. As the title of his book suggests, don't expect the same guy you saw on Full House in this, his latest live stand-up DVD, 'That's What I'm Talkin' About'.

In this hour-long special, Saget takes to the stage with a song in his heart. A filthy, filthy song to be exact. He lets loose and embraces the dark side, and you’ll thank him for it. He tells his favorite dirty jokes, and tells stories of his dad, the guy who made him like this. He also pulls out a guitar for some songs that they probably won’t be playing on “Full House,” but may just tickle your funny bone.

In this Grammy Award nominated release, Saget will go where most comedians don't dare go. As soon as he steps foot on the stage, he begins with the foul sexualised humour that, I believe, only a few people would find as funny as those in the crowd did during the filming (although, through an audience poll, it seems that most of the crowd were drunk and/or stoned).

He jokes about the Tourettes Guy from YouTube, who made his name a swear word, seeing the film Titanic in 3D and how much it disturbed him, and quite a humerous exchange with a guy in the audience named J-Bone. He climbs to the comedic highs of an aroused donkey on the set of Full House and down to, what some would say, the comedic lows of the idea that diarrhea can save your life.

There are five humerous songs to finish off Saget's hour long special which get a great reaction from the crowd but not as big a one from me. There's songs such as 'The Girl From The Driftwood Nursing Home', 'When I Think Of You'  and the toe-tapping 'Butt Plug Made Of Leather'. As a bonus, there is a tne minute one-on-one interview with Mr Saget himself filmed especially for the DVD.

If you liked Bob Saget's character on Full House, then this is probably not what you are going to expect. At times it's rude, vulgar and down-right wrong. I'm sure it appeals to many peoples taste in humour but not mine. While there were a few funny moments, mainly in audience banter, the pre-prepared material wasn't executed brilliantly which unfortunately didn't have quite as good an impact. I'm not saying don't watch, I'm just saying be warned!

If you are a fan of Bob Saget, you would be pleased to know that he is coming to Australia in May. For full details on his three shows, visit the Ticketek website.
